Day 16-I'm back!
Day 16- Still playing anyways :) My theme this week was going to be my family, or I guess it still is. If you haven't guessed yet, this is me. I'm still not sure how I'm going to trick my husband into getting in front of the camera...any suggestions? :P
Glad you are still playing. Your self portrait is great as is the composition. No sorry, I have so bright ideas regarding your husband - if I did, I'd be able to take photos of my family!
Love this self-portrait. The matching scarf and lipstick look great and your pretty smile sets it all off. Great lighting and you look ready for the deep cold. Well done.
As to getting your husband in front of the camera, I appealed to his helpful nature. Am going to try again one of these days, but I managed it once so far. Bribe him with favours, drinks, sweets or otherwise. Wait till he falls asleep in front of the TV or even get up in the middle of the night and blind him with flash! So many ways to skin a cat! Good luck with it though! ;-)
Why of course, just tell him you're doing a self portrait (again) and need him to get the focus just right and then you'll be able to swap places with him...but don't! I like the lean you have going on in the portrait, you looked so wrapped up and cozy. Great idea!
Yeah Lisa! Great shot! Love the reds, and nice blue eyes. You look truly happy. As for your husband... I have managed to get mine infront of the camera by asking for his help... he was a good sport when I did a H2H film noir, he liked the idea of being the Bogart type. Maybe if your hubby likes a sports team or some type of hobby you can get him involved with something he likes and is proud of he will let you shoot him in the mist of doing it.
You look so nice and warm, all bundled up like that :) This is such a wonderful self-portrait, your eyes and smile are so engaging :) See, I can't help smiling back at you :)
That's a great self portrait and good composition Now I would suggest that you stand naked in front of him with your camera and just click away and he won't even see the camera ;)
