Day 8- Rolled Paper

New week, new theme. My theme this week will be "Paper." I thought I'd start with something really simple.

    It is simple but I find it very elegant...like a linen napkin at a fancy dinner

    Oooh, lovely colours! Did you do the pretty gradient background in post, with lights, or do you just happen to have lovely graduated coloured paper lying around? Whichever way you did it, the result is very striking. Well done and an interesting new choice of theme.

    kimbomac....I did it in post. I had photographed the white paper lying on a yellow sheet of paper. It was too boring. So I made a hue/saturation adjustment layer and added a gradient mask, then made a shift in the hue to get the red part. :)

    I really like how you got two colours in for your background, it makes the white of the paper stand out lovely and sharp.

    Lovely work! the whiteness of the paper contrasts really well with the colored background. Simple yet stunning.
