Day 27- Green

Day 27- Green. I tried to shoot this with my 50mm turned around backwards...trying for a macro shot, but ran out of patience trying to get a focused shot. So, that's why there is a lot more yellow in this than I meant for there to be....but I may have learned something--I either need a reversing ring or a macro lens :)

  1. This photo has impact! It's the colours you've chosen that do it. Very nicely composed.

  3. I like it this way! The composition is perfect!
....let me just say that I have a macro lens, and its my absolute favorite!! I use it all the time, even for portraits. You will not regret getting one.

  4. A reversing ring would do it.
But why?!?! I just love the graphic nature of this and the smooth clean background with the vivid spiky green in front of it is very effective. Well done.

  5. While there is a lot of yellow....the green is what hits you first. Before I read your title my first thought was GREEN! So, you have achieved your goal. I really like the graphic nature of this natural thing.

  8. Hi!

Sorry to bug you this way, but as I got excommunicated at Worth1000 because of raising "bad questions" (I have yet to understand what that could be and asked the board to tell me, but haven't gotten any response yet) I want to thank you for the nice shoot in January. Wish I could have played in that HxH tournament, but as the admins decided my questions had been too harsh and dangerous for the moral and integrity of the Worth community, it's sadly not going to happen.

Enjoy your time at w1k and be careful what you ask, and where…
