Day 6- Board Games

Day 6- Board Games
I didn't want to resort to board games or cards, but I had to dig out Chutes and Ladders. I still have lots of games, but none that seem very interesting to photograph. Oh well...one more day of games.

  1. I love the way you "spotlighted" it, it has worked so well here.
A long way for us all to go yet, it's getting to take over my life, though I believe the hard work will be well worth it all.

  2. I think that this is a great game to photograph! The children look so cheerful (well most of them) and the colours are lovely. The spotlight works well as well. I shall miss the weeks theme when you move on to the next - I'm really enjoying it.

  3. What the hell is a 'chute'? It looks like a filmstrip or something. We had snakes and ladders when I was a kid... I'm fairly confused.

Anyway, the picture looks really cool, it makes me think that kids are up late playing games in their tent-fort by torchlight when they should be sleeping!

Right! I'm off to look up chute in the dictionary. -mrnelson

  4. Oh... It's a slide. Makes sense now, although I don't know what's wrong with a perfectly good snake. pfffft! ;-)

  5. Nice colours and shadows. And an interesting effect to spotlight it although I feel it makes it a bit dark. Almost like looking through a toilet roll middle or something. Nice one.

  6. Hey where did my comment go?

Well what I said was that I like the spotlight effect too but I have to agree with MrNelson that a snake beats a chute anyday.
